What to do with these?

We’re leaving for Bend next week and I’m not sure what to do with these!

Greenhouse tomato 'Beefsteak'

Greek salad maybe? With some Feta cheese? Yum! Too bad I didn’t grow cucumbers.

I guess I’ll have to give some away :)

Happy gardening,

Tessa

Sorry, my verification code was not working properly. I took it off for the time being, so all should be good (in theory, that is ;)- thanks for your patience, and thanks also to Kim at An Instrument of Grace for letting me know!

Please be sure to let me know if you have any further problems- just hit the blue envelope at top to email me :)

Tessa .. it gave me that warning on your post just now but then it opened up again .. gremlins in the machinery !!
OMG ... I so wish you lived near me .. I would take those lovelies off your hands no problem girl !! They look DELICIOUS : )

Tess, those are the best looking tomatoes! I'm sure you won't have trouble finding homes for them! Have fun!

Looking good! Stuff them then bake! If you have any left over go to a really bad play or stand up routine. Throwing tomatoes is a lost artform.

Your tomatoes look so yummy. Cannot wait until mine turn red. I have had a few cucumber though.

Those are some beautiful tomatoes. I think a Greek salad sounds great!

I have many green tomatoes, but no reds! I am drooling! Is your travel really long? Tomatoes can be kept for a long time!

I'd make Caprese salad. Slice the tomatoes and layer them with fresh buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle on some coarse salt. That is summer to me, and it's HEAVEN.

I am finished with the last tomato a couple of months ago, definitely am envious with the bright colored tomatoes, so heavy that you have to support them with a pail or something.... Giveaway is always a good gesture Tessa.

Hi Tessa! Thanks for stopping by the "Burbs". Your tomatoes look wonderful!! Mine are so far off... Had to buy some at the farm market on Friday! Glad you enjoyed the honey process. I have a WHOLE new appreciation for honey. Made me sick to even waste one DROP. Spread the love...buy local honey : ))

I see that beautiful pile of tomatoes and I want to make bruschetta!

Hi Tessa, I think I'll be in Portland when you're elsewhere! I can't wait to return and tour the city's wonderful green spaces, walls and roofs!! Cheers, Alice aka BayAreaTendrils Garden Travel.

You send them to me silly.

Oh, I am so jealous to see you have ripe tomatoes already! Mine still have quite a long way to go. I love Greek salads- makes me hungry thinking about it! Yum! Wish I could help you eat them. I think my favorite way to enjoy homegrown tomatoes is just a simple tomato sandwich on toasted bread with a generous amount of mayo. So good!

Excellent looking tomatoes. Is it growing in a container or in land?. I kept looking at these tomatoes for a long time. Really beautiful.

    Great work.
