This little guy crawled on my daughter’s back while sitting on the couch- freaked her out, but not too much that she forgot to get a shot of him!
His tail is truly an electric blue. He is a type of lizard called a Skink- isn’t he cute?
Happy gardening,
Tessa

Very interesting creature. Definitely belongs OUTside though. :)
Wow! That is a brilliant tail! I haven't seen one of those guys before.
The colours are nice but the this thing is really frightening!
I would still be screaming. Oh my gosh. He is a handsome fellow though. If it were a snake I would be dead from a heart attack. Lizards only freak me out ...when...walking...on....my...back...GAH...
I am trying to visit every one of my blog followers. Some I am in contact with all the time but others have been MIA and we have lost touch. I want all of my blog buddies to know that I appreciate them.
I would love to paint something that blue color! Kim
Tessa,
These are cool aren't they, Five-lined Skink or Blue-tailed Skink. I took photos of a momma and eggs and then caught the babies hatching. Found them cleaning up some lumber scraps under a 8 inch 2 x 6.
What a cute little lizard, such a pretty blue color. I haven't been around to all my gardening peeps blogs lately so wanted to stop by and say hi! Your garden and yard are looking great :)
Wow, very cute! Didn't know there were these sorts of lizards living in the PNW. Very interesting!
