Just a quick update on what's going on in between family emergencies!

More yummy salad- this is just this week.

Happy New Year and happy harvesting!

    Wonderful radishes!
I must remember to plant more radishes this time around - we ate them all much too soon! I've still got carrots and hoping for the onions to get big enough to eat.
Do you know about the Salad Challenge over at Veg Plotting? It is vegplotting dot blogspot dot com or copy this link http://vegplotting.blogspot.com/2012/01/52-week-salad-challenge-begins.html

Best wishes for the New Year!

Thanks for commenting, Lea. Although at this time I'm unable to join in, I bet others will- I know there are a lot of garden bloggers out there winter growing- (or harvesting, if you're in a cold area as I am). With a few family medical things going on, any posts I manage to get up are quick and to the point! And with my tablet, the shots won't be as great, but at least they'll be there!

    Happy New Year!

  • Why I garden...

Salad and radishes are always a welcome treat, especially this time of year. I enjoy putting some rocket or sliced radishes on top of stews or soups.
